Life gets so busy and chaotic and it is hard to truly appreciate the preciousness and beauty of these souls that God has given to me to love and guide and parent. As they lay sleeping tonight, so peaceful, I am reminded once again of the gift of parenting, the joy that these children are to me, and how grateful I am to the Lord for the privilege of loving them so personally and intimately. A little bit sappy, but sometimes sappy is good.
