A lot of firsts.

As we near the completion of our first year in Zambia (with a bit of a break in the middle), we are still having the joy of doing a lot of firsts:

We had a couple of girls from the compound nearby who we have befriend over the year over for breakfast. Miriam (not our worker) was celebrating her 17th birthday. And though it wasn't her first birthday, it was her first birthday party ever. Crazy, huh? We celebrated with French Toast, presents, cards and the morning at our church.

Julia rode a horse for the first time. But, check her blog tomorrow. I don't want to steal her thunder.

My girls have never modeled the bags of the local stores before like they did a few days ago. I wonder if anyone has ever done this:)
